Members of the Delran Fire Company collected a host of supplies to help other New Jersey families in need in the aftermath of Sandy.

Volunteer firefighters collected bottled water, food and clothing for those affected by Hurricane Sandy in Long Beach Island.

Fire crews loaded the items in preparation for a trip to Long Beach Island Saturday morning.

They will be joined by members of the Westampton Fire Company. Both fire houses will offer relief to the firefighters there by working a couple 12-hours shifts to allow others to rest.
