Police say a man approached the counter at the McDonald in the 5500 block of Old York Road Tuesday night around 7:45 p.m. and demanded the employee to open the cash register at gunpoint.
Police say the suspect reached over the counter and took an undetermined amount of cash before he fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male around 20-years-old with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings, black pants, black sneakers and black backpack. He was wearing a black mask and was armed with a silver handgun with black grips.
