Developers in Allentown have unveiled a 250 million dollar plan to give the river front a brand new look.

Officials say it's called The Waterfront and it will replace the abandoned Lehigh Structural Steel complex near the Tilghman Street Bridge.

The new building will house offices, shops, apartments, and boating facilities.

It will also have walking trails along the water and is expected to create 3 thousand new jobs.

Developers are hoping to break ground in 2014.
