The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 4300 block of North Broad Street.
Officials say the man was shot in his leg and rushed to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
According to police, the suspect knew the victim before shooting him outside the Midas shop.
The suspect fled the scene and police are investigating.
