But authorities tell the Asbury Park Press of Neptune that the victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
The stabbing occurred just after 2 a.m. Sunday at the Mansion nightclub in Brick. The victim suffered two puncture wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released later Sunday.
The victim's name has not been disclosed, and no other injuries were reported. It was not clear what sparked the dispute or how many people were involved.
No arrests have been made.
