The fire broke out shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Restaurant Bar on Baltimore Avenue.
Crews struck the second alarm about 15 minutes later and began evacuations of two apartments above the business.
There are no reported injuries at this time.
The fire was placed under control at 3:33pm
