2 Powerball tickets worth $1 million sold in Pa.

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - December 28, 2012

Two tickets for the Dec. 22 Powerball drawing are each worth $1 million. They correctly matched all five white balls, 01-18-35-39-44, but not the red Powerball 11.

The slips were sold at opposite ends of the state. Pennsylvania lottery officials say one was bought at Giant Eagle supermarket in Baden, Beaver County.

They say the other was sold at Stauffer's One Stop in Ringtown, Schuylkill County.

Winners get $1 million, minus 25 percent federal withholding. They have a year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Each retailer gets a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
