Tornado Warning for New Castle County until 5 p.m.

The National Weather Service said Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado.

If you live in the area, take shelter immediately.

FRIDAY: Warm and humid with a few thunderstorms developing during the afternoon. Heavy downpours and gusty winds can not be ruled out. There is the possibility of flooding in low lying areas and areas of poor drainage. High 86.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny, warm and humid. Showers and thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon. A few downpours are possible along with gusty winds. High 87.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny, warm and humid with a couple of thunderstorms possible during the afternoon. High 86.

MONDAY: Clouds, some sun. Warm and sticky with showers and thunderstorms developing. High 84.

TUESDAY: Warm and humid with a combination of sun and clouds. A few pop up thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon. High 86.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and humid with a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. High 85.

THURSDAY: Humid with spotty showers and a thunderstorm. High: 84.
