Authorities say a 19-year-old male was shot several times in the chest at the Orangewood Apartments on Elizabeth Lane at approximately 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers recovered evidence from one of the units during a search Wednesday morning.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
