Shooting that left man critically injured deemed justifiable by police

PHILADELPHIA - July 31, 2013

The shooting happened at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 1600 block of West Olney Avenue.

The 26-year-old victim was shot at least twice and is currently hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say the victim and the gunman knew each other.

The shooter was taken in for questioning, and later released. Police say the older man acted in self defense.
