Route 30 Bypass reopens after truck crash in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, Pa. - August 15, 2013

The accident happened shortly after 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

The tractor-trailer was travelling westbound, but then flipped into the eastbound lane.

The truck was carrying Sodium Hydroxide, which according to PennDOT is a hazardous material.

Fortunately, the material has not spilled onto the road.

One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

The road was reopened by mid-afternoon Thursday.
