Authorities are working to determine if wet weather contributed to an accident that injured four people Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

Police say the driver of a sedan lost control on rain-slicked roads and slammed into a utility pole in the 4700 block of Wissahickon Avenue.

One of the passengers was ejected from the car.

Medics rushed two men and two women to area hospitals for treatment.

There was no immediate word on their conditions.
