Boy, 17, shot and wounded in West Oak Lane

Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting of a teenager in the city's West Oak Lane section.

Police were called to the 7100 block of North 20th Street just after 2:00 p.m. Thursday.

There they found a 17-year-old boy shot in the buttocks.

There was no immediate word on a motive or suspect.
