23-year-old Mary Greff, a former Miss Teen USA contestant, was found dead on Thursday in the Waldwick home she shared with her parents.
Authorities say she was strangled.
Police say the murdered mother's baby was found in a bassinet right next to her body. The child was not hurt.
There was no sign of forced entry into the house.
According to WABC, authorities have arrested 22-year-old Mark Spatucci, described by officials as Greff's boyfriend, on murder and related charges.
He was ordered held on $2-million bond.
