A South Jersey house of worship joined forces with a local gas station to lighten the financial load on commuters.

Between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, drivers were treated to a 50 cent reduction on the price of gas at the Pioneer gas station located along the 5100 block of the Black Horse Pike.

The act of kindness was compliments of Trinity Christian Chapel in Sewell.

The church says they also provided pretzels, cold water and information about their church to the customers.

This event occurs twice a year, church officials tell Action News.
