It happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. Sunday on East Main Street near Arch Street.
Police say the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike after striking the SUV as it was pulling out of a parking space.
He was taken to Suburban Hospital in Norristown where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
