The incident was reported at approximately 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
The victim, an ESU student, reported that she was sexually assaulted in her room in Lenape Hall.
Authorities say the suspects are not East Stroudsburg University students, but are known to the victim.
No arrests have been announced.
The incident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police in coordination with East Stroudsburg University Police.
