42 children bound for the Nellie Stokes Elementary School were on the bus at the time.

Five, ranging in age from 6 to 11 years old, were taken to Kent General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hunter had to be extricated from her car and was taken to Kent General with non-life-threatening injuries. Hunter's two grandchildren, passengers in the car, were also taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

State police say Walnut Shade Road was closed between Barney Jenkins Road and Peachtree Run for about two hours.
