Police were called to the 400 block of County Line Road on Friday morning.
Investigators say the man had barricaded himself in the home.
As a precaution, the nearby Pine Road Elementary School was briefly placed on lockdown.
The man was taken into custody around 9:00 a.m.
His name has not been released and police have not yet said why the man barricaded himself in the home.
