Brandi Bowen, 28, of the unit block of Sailboat Circle in the Four Seasons Townhomes in Newark, was reported missing early Thursday morning.
According to police, a friend reported Bowen and her son, Aidin, missing after seeing the pair leave their apartment.
Police say Bowen dropped the baby off with her mother at some point Thursday morning.
Bowen herself was located by police a short time later.
