Authorities report a small plane landed on the northbound lanes of the toll road in Orange County yesterday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol says a student pilot and an instructor were aboard the plane, which was having engine trouble.
There was no damage to the plane.
No word, though, on whether the pilot now owes a toll.
