76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams released from hospital

Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams was released from the hospital Sunday after receiving treatment for a skin infection on his right knee.

Carter-Williams was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania under the care of Head Team Physician Dr. Brian Sennett and Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Neil Fishman.

The rookie sat out two straight games due to the skin infection.

The team is listing him as day to day.
