22-year-old Robert John Vucelich of Springfield is charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography, 2 counts of dissemination of child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility.
Police say the videos found on Vicelich's computer depicted children as young as 6 years old.
At his arraignment, Vucelich waived his preliminary hearing. He was then released after posting 10 percent of his $30,000 bail.
Vucelich allegedly told authorities he understands why child pornography is illegal but he didn't think he would get caught.
