Bring old clothes to new H&M for savings

UPPER DARBY, Pa. - December 19, 2013

Shoppers stood in line for hours before the noon Grand Opening of our area's newest H&M store located on 69th Street in Upper Darby. They enjoyed treats and beverages but they were really there for the deals.

The chain's reputation for offering stylish clothing and accessories at value prices, along with the chance for the first people in line to win gift cards worth $10 to $300, made it a big draw.

The Grand Opening specials included camisole tops for $5 and sweaters for $10. And as good as the deals are, you can save even more by bringing in some of your old clothes and donating them to be recycled.

H&M spokesperson Nicole Christie explains, "We thought what better way to help our consumers get rid of the garments they can no longer use and we take them and recycle them and when you bring a bag of garments, you get a coupon for 15-percent off an item on your next purchase."

The clothes you donate don't have to be from H&M and the offer is good at all their stores.
