"We Will Rock You" takes place years from now in a cookie-cutter society where music has become mindless and manufactured - and everyone thinks, acts and dresses alike.
Matt Wolf, VP of Programming, Kimmel Center:
"This group of young bohemians ultimately goes back and tries to find that individuality and creativity that makes the art and the process of music and the lyrics so wonderful and meaningful to all of us."
And it's set to the most celebrated songs of front man Freddie Mercury and his band; from the sports anthem 'We are the Champions' to 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'Bhomenian Rhapsody' and 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love.'
Matt Wolf, VP of Programming, Kimmel Center:
"Freddie Mercury was such a unique vocal talent and he's probably one of the greatest rock and roll singers if not the greatest rock and roll singer of all time. Ultimately this musical celebrates the contributions that Queen made."
"We Will Rock You" has been running for 12 years on the West End, London's equivalent of Broadway. The show has been seen by 15 million people worldwide.
