Justin Bieber announces retirement on Twitter

Pop sensation Justin Bieber shocked his fans Tuesday night by tweeting that he was allegedly retiring.

The series of tweets read:

"My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring"

"The media talks a lot about me. They make a [sic] up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle."

"Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER"

These tweets are not confirmed but came from Bieber's official account.

Representatives for Justin Bieber had no comment on the retirement issue.

Bieber's latest movie "Believe" was released on Wednedsay.
