Five people were forced out into the cold after a fire ripped through a vacant house next door.

Firefighters battled the fire early Sunday in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

Crews were called to the 2300 block of Wilder Street just before 4:30 a.m.

Smoke and flames were coming from the vacant home.

No one was hurt, but the family in a house next door had to evacuate.

The American Red Cross was helping them find shelter.
