Residents rescued from burning house in Lansdowne, Pa.

Officials say residents were rescued from a burning house in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. on the unit block of Stratford Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to flames showing on the first floor.

They say two occupants made it onto the roof area and had to be rescued.

The victims are being checked for injuries.

So far, no word on what sparked the blaze.
