Firefighter hurt in Southwest Philadelphia house fire

Amid the frigid temperatures, fire crews battled flames at a townhouse in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:00 Friday night on the 800 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.

Arriving crews reported heavy fire was showing on the second floor of a three story home.

Officials say a firefighter was hurt in a fall and suffered smoke inhalation but his injuries are not life-threatening.

No one else was injured.

The cause for the fire remains unknown.
