Kevin Davis, 26, of the 2600 block of South 61st Street, was arrested at his home on Saturday.
Investigators say he shot and killed Jahmeer Alphonso Jett, 19, in the 6200 block of Grays Avenue at 5:50 p.m. on January 17th.
Police did not release a possible motive in this case.
Davis is charged with murder and related offenses.
