The incident started with a car crash that erupted in flames at 8:05 p.m. on the 5600 block of Palethorpe Street.
When police officers arrived they discovered two victims inside the Black Mazda unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the men, identified as 25-year-old Stephen Mysyk from 5900 block of North Mascher Street, had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced on the scene.
The second man, who remains unidentified, suffered a gunshot wound to the face. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he later died.
Police say they still do not have a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made.
