The incident happened at 8:47 a.m. on the 1200 block of Prospect Street.
Police say the girl was struck by a red 2006 Hyundai four door sedan in the area of Prospect Street and Dover Avenue.
The teen was then rushed by paramedics to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and is reported to be in critical condition.
The victim's identity is not being released at this time.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene.
Police say road conditions were foggy at the time of the incident.
