It was a little after 8:00 p.m. when police and paramedics were called out to the report of a shooting at the intersection of 21st Street and Edgemont Avenue.
Upon their arrival they found a 15-year-old boy suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word on what led up to the shooting.
Chester police are investigating.
