Rescue crews responded around 2:00 p.m. Friday to Grows Trucking, located in the 1500 block of Bordentown Road on the site of the old USX Plant in Falls Township.
Officials say the man was working on the ship when he fell into the hatch.
The man was eventually rescued and taken to Capital Health System Fuld Division with serious chest and abdominal injuries. His condition is not known at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
