Police tell Action News 78-year-old Veronica Rigler and her husband, 81-year-old William Rigler, were located in Virginia late Thursday night.
Investigators, who were able to track the couple through bank transaction records, say the couple left the Philadelphia area without notifying friends or family.
The couple was reported missing earlier in the day on Thursday.
They were last seen leaving their home on the 300 block of Hermitage Street around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in their red/purple 2000 Mazda MPV.
Investigators from Philadelphia Police Northwest Detectives released pictures and descriptions of the couple Thursday afternoon in an attempt to locate them.
