PHILADELPHIA - March 11, 2014 --
24 writers can win a free roundtrip on Amtrak thanks to a new residency program. The rail carrier will give them accommodations on a sleeper car.
They must have "a passion for writing and an aspiration to travel with Amtrak for inspiration."
To be eligible, they must submit an application posted on Amtrak's website.
