The American Transmission Company is using an oversized flying saw to trim trees.
The trees are along a high voltage line near the Point Beach Nuclear Plant in Wisconsin.
The company has hired Aerial Solutions.
They use helicopters equipped with rotary saw blades suspended on a 90-foot vertical boom.
The energy transmission company said that using helicopters for tree trimming is more productive and efficient than using ground-based crews.
