The 35-year-old man was found around 12:30 a.m. on East Luray Street near Whitaker Avenue.
Police say he was found in an alleyway near a bar with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was slumped over the wheel of a car.
Police rushed him to Temple University Hospital in extremely critical condition.
Investigators are going over video from the surveillance cameras for clues.
So far, there is no word on suspects or a motive.
