Police say a woman was struck at the intersection of Welsh Road and Bluegrass Road in Northeast Philadelphia just before 4:00pm.
The she was rushed to the Aria Torresdale Hospital in critical condition. She died a short time later.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
