It happened around 9:00 Monday night on the 500 block of Pfeiffer Street.
Gunfire erupted and officer arrived to find one male suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he later died.
While police investigated, shots rang out again striking another male. He suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken also taken to Cooper University Hospital.
Police believe both shootings are connected. No word on a motive.
