The shooting happened at 3:45 a.m. Monday at Candela's Bar and Grill on the 700 block of Adams Avenue.
Police tell Action News a man was refused entry to the business by a security guard, who told him the bar and restaurant were closing.
The suspect allegedly got angry and threw a milk crate at the door, then returned with a gun, opened fire into the establishment and fled.
Video released by police shows two angles of the incident: an outside camera shows the suspect pulling the trigger, while a camera inside the bar shows glass shattering and people diving for cover.
A security guard was hit in the cheek by one of the bullets. A female customer was injured by flying glass that hit her in the neck.
The security guard was taken to the hospital in serious condition, while the female customer was treated and released.
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5'8"-5'10", 200 lbs., wearing a white baseball hat, blue hooded sweatshirt with "1989" on the front, white shirt with dark colored stripes, blue jeans, and blue sneakers.
