49-year-old Raymond Sawyer of Wilmington was arrested Friday evening at his home. He is charged with three counts of robbery second degree.
Police say he committed the January 15th robbery at the PNC Bank in Greenville, the March 14th robbery of the PNC Bank in Claymont, and the March 20th robbery of the Artisans Bank on Marsh Road in Wilmington.
According to investigators, in each instance Sawyer presented a demand note to the teller, was given cash, and then fled.
Sawyer was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institute on $18,000 secured bail.
