Man charged for front-end loader attack

UPPER MT. BETHEL TWP., Pa. - April 4, 2014

The attack happened last month in a driveway on Potomac Street in Upper Mount Bethel Township.

Police say 62-year-old Donald Riley hit his ex-girlfriend's mother with a front end loader and pinned her to the ground using the machine's bucket.

The victim had been trying to stop Riley from operating the equipment because he appeared to be intoxicated. She suffered minor injuries.

Riley is now charged with assault.
