Fast-moving fire damages South Philadelphia house

Officials say a fast-moving damaged a house in South Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out just before 1:00 a.m. on the 2000 block of South 12th Street.

Firefighters arrived to flames showing from the rear roof area.

They were able to get the fire under control within fifteen minutes.

Officials say the residents were able to get out safely.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
