It all started at the Roosevelt Motor Inn on the 7600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard around midnight on March 31st.
Surveillance video shows two men walking down the hallway. One of the men is carrying a bag in one hand and a cup holder with drinks in the other.
Behind them, a female guest at the hotel tries to get into her room when suddenly a man behind them pulls out a gun and starts firing at the two men.
The woman crouches down trying to avoid getting hit, then she runs.
The men run down the stairs trying to get away when one of them falls and flips over.
One of the men, who through all of this, never managed to lose his bag or spill his drinks, manages to get down to another floor.
He looks up the stairs to see if the gunman is still following.
A few seconds later, on another floor, a hotel guest is passing by as the two men turn the corner and see the gunman heading right at them, firing shots.
The folks that are between the gunfire are innocent people that look like they had nothing to do with this," said Lt. John Stanford, Philadelphia Police.
Without even looking to see who is standing there, the gunman points his weapon around the corner of the hallway and fires a shot.
On the other side, one of the suspects, a man in dreadlocks and dressed in black, is crouched down with his gun drawn.
When the gunman turns the corner, he is almost struck. He quickly turns and starts running.
"With other people walking up and down that hallway there, it's just something, it's just amazing that no one was injured during this incident," said Lt. Stanford.
Police are hoping that someone recognizes the two gunmen involved.
Both men appear to be in their 30s. One suspect is heavy set, about 6'0" tall with a beard. The second suspects is about 5'8" with a thin build and was wearing all black.
