The incident took place on a front porch on the 4700 block of North 13th Street around midnight.
One man shot another man in his 20's after fighting over a girlfriend, police say.
The victim was shot once and taken to the hospital.
He is listed in critical but stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
Police are investigating.
