Flames broke out at a home in the 9100 block of Verree Road near Alburger around 7:30 p.m.
One person was treated at the scene.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within 30 minutes.
Investigators believe the fire started in the basement.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
