A man who fled the country after killing a SEPTA trolley driver nearly two years ago will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

On Wednesday a judge sentenced 39-year-old Miguel Gonzalez to 30 to 60 years in prison.

Gonzalez shot and killed 52-year-old Aaron Hayes in front of his Southwest Philadelphia home in May 2012.

Gonzalez was taken into custody by the FBI Task Force nearly a year later hiding in Honduras.
