The deadly shooting happened in the victim's own backyard, early in the evening on Tuesday April 22nd at the New Castle Mobile Home Park in the 3100 block of New Castle Avenue.
42-year-old Manuel Ramirez had just gotten home from his landscaping job. He was sitting in his favorite chair when he was shot once in the head.
Ramirez died the next day at the hospital.
New Castle County detectives released a sketch of the suspect Wednesday, exactly one week after Ramirez died.
The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, about 30 years old, with an average build, bald and wearing a green/blue shirt.
