In this week's Top 6 we go for dining and drinks around the world, without leaving the city.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- In this week's Top 6 we go for dining and drinks around the world, without leaving the city.

Jessica Boyington checks out some of the best new restaurants in the new year.

BAR LESIEUR

With its dark, sexy, and slight hint of a speakeasy vibe, Michael Shulson's 10th restaurant, Bar Leisure, showcases a modern take on the French classics. If you like to start off a meal with a bread basket, then this is the spot for you. Spring for a slice of the shallot sourdough with a smear of salty butter and a sip of an expertly crafted cocktail.

What I loved:

-Tuna Crudo (with blood orange and pistachio)

-Brandade Tortelloni (salted cod filled torteloni with saffron emulsion and chorizo)

-12 day Dry-Aged Duck Breast with parsnip puree and duck jus

-Bourbon Beurre Blanc (brown butter old fashioned)

PIZZERIA SALVY

It's no secret that everything Marc Vetri touches turns to gold. The Philly famous restaurateur's newest spot, Pizzeria Salvy, is no exception. The concept was created as a dedication to his Father, with the menu boasting some of his recipes. The giant pizza oven in the dining room was flown here all the way from Italy, and it pumps out seven different pies on the menu, each one unique and delicious.

What I loved:

-The Basilica Verde

-The Santa Messina (Yellow & Red Datterini Tomatoes, Stracciatella, Sicilian Oregano, Fresh Basil, Garlic)

-The Fiorella Sausage and Peppers (Fiorella Sausage, Roasted Peppers, Mozzarella, Pecorino)

-Sal's Meatballs (Marc Vetri's Father's recipe!)

-Butterscotch Budino

-Sals Spritz
